Better than Panic Room - the setting is in an ordinary house with no (well, maybe a little) special rooms or traps.
Worse than Panic Room - you can actually see the ghost. I always think the scariest is the unseen.
Famke Janssen’s performance is surprisingly solid. Her eyes are absorbing.
